Who We Are

The Prince William County Tea Party Patriots is a local non-profit, non-partisan group established to advance and strengthen constitutionally based education and ideas. We are not affiliated with any political party.

Our Mission

Our mission is to encourage citizen participation in the political system and empower citizens with a voice and influence in expecting good governance.

Our Vision

We believe in limited government. Our vision was formulated from ideas that come from individuals within our group, Tea Party and patriot organizations from around this great country. They are our ideas on how we can make this country work again. And most importantly take back the powers that are constitutionally granted. . You may agree with the ideas or you may not. But please read them. Think about them. Share your thoughts and your ideas with us.  Let us know what you think. UNLIKE OUR GOVERNMENT WE ARE LISTENING.

• Legislators must roll back the bailouts and let our free enterprise system work.

• No legislator shall be in office for not more than two consecutive terms.
• The public shall be made aware of pending legislation and have five (5) days to comment.
• All legislators have at least forty eight (48) hours to read legislation before voting and a three (3) day cooling off period after legislation has been signed to recall legislation before moving it to the President for signing. 
• Committee chairs are expected to know what is in the legislation they write and report out of committee.
• Any legislator that breaks the law, ex: (tax evasion, lobbying, conflict of interest, lying to the people) will be required to give up their committee assignments and may be required to resign their office.  
• Government agencies will not provide funds to organizations and/or their subsidiaries that are under investigation or indictment.
• English will be our main language in the United States.
• No amnesty programs for illegal immigrants. All will abide by United States immigration laws or will be arrested and deported back to their countries.
• The words “In God We Trust” should never be abolished from our monies, schools, government installations.
• The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag will be restored back into our schools.
• A flat tax or national sales tax shall replace our current income tax. 
• Government will be prohibited from taking any ownership stake in private enterprises. The Obama Administration and Congress have seized control of key banks, insurance companies, the automotive industry, etc. They will be required to relinquish control of them.
• Government will cease using strong arm tactics to implement its policies.
• There will be no handouts and accountability and transparency will be the law of the land.
